Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring a committed PE Teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive physical education lessons. The role is based in schools across the Rotherham area, covering the S65 and S66 postcodes.

In this role, the Physical Education (PE) Teacher will plan and teach lessons that develop fitness, coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. You will encourage pupils to build confidence, resilience, and a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured PE lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Promote participation, teamwork, and positive attitudes to fitness.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed environment for all pupils.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support wider school initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a PE Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
