Role: Geography Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a committed Geography Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Rotherham (S65, S66).
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that encourage curiosity about physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global citizenship. This role is suitable for experienced teachers, ECTs, or overseas-trained teachers who are enthusiastic about making a positive impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor students progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote a love of Geography through creative teaching approaches.
- Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography.
- Experience teaching Geography within a UK or comparable curriculum.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, proactive, and student-centred teaching approach.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
