Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistants
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications for SEN Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support that helps pupils access learning effectively. The role is based in schools within the Wakefield district, covering the WF4 area.
As Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TA), you will work closely with pupils on a one-to-one or small-group basis, supporting their academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social development.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised support to pupils with a range of additional needs as SEN Teaching Assistants.
- Assist class teachers in delivering differentiated learning activities.
- Support pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
