Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently looking for a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Wakefield (WF4), providing tailored support to pupils who require additional help to access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with a specific pupil, offering personalised academic, behavioural, or emotional support in line with their individual needs and education plans.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to help pupils remain engaged and make progress.
- Assist with learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
- Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN or behavioural challenges.
- Monitor progress and communicate effectively with teaching and pastoral staff.
Requirements of 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting.
- A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach to learning support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
