Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: £460 -£650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are recruiting a motivated Cover Supervisor to provide continuity of education during teacher absences in schools across Rotherham (S65, S66).
In this role, the Cover Supervisor (CS) will deliver pre-prepared lessons, maintain classroom discipline, and keep pupils engaged throughout the day. It offers valuable school-based experience while contributing to a positive learning environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences using prepared lesson plans.
- Maintain a calm, focused, and positive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support students with their work and respond to basic queries.
- Report any issues or concerns to senior staff.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar school-based role.
- Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- A professional approach to safeguarding and school procedures.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
