A local Sheffield school is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to supervise classes, maintain a positive learning environment, and support teachers by providing continuity in their absence.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes across a range of subjects, ensuring that students remain engaged and learning continues effectively. You will support teachers by implementing lesson plans and maintaining order, providing a seamless educational experience during staff absence.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise classes and maintain a structured, disciplined learning environment.
• Deliver lessons according to pre-prepared plans provided by teachers.
• Support students with their learning and engagement across subjects.
• Monitor and report on student behaviour and progress.
• Assist with classroom resources and activities as required.
• Communicate effectively with teaching staff regarding lesson delivery and student outcomes.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a school or classroom setting is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of different classes and students.
• A professional, reliable, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
