Salary: £460 – £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during staff absence, ensuring students remain engaged and learning continues effectively. You will play a vital role in maintaining classroom discipline, supporting student development, and providing teachers with feedback on progress and behaviour.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absence.
• Deliver lessons and activities according to existing plans.
• Ensure students are engaged, on-task, and following school policies.
• Maintain discipline and promote a positive learning environment.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student behaviour and engagement.
• Support students with additional needs where required.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure consistency and continuity in learning.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting is preferred.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to maintain classroom discipline and motivate students.
• Flexible, adaptable, and confident in working across different year groups and subjects.
