Salary: £460 – £600 per week

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering lessons, assist students with learning tasks, and help maintain a positive classroom environment. This role allows you to play a key part in students’ educational and personal development.

Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Assist students with learning activities and provide guidance where needed.
• Encourage students’ independence, confidence, and participation.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support students with additional needs, including SEN or SEMH requirements.
• Monitor and report on student progress to teaching staff.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure individual student needs are met.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is preferred.
• Understanding of SEN/SEMH needs and evidence-based support strategies is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of students.
• A compassionate, patient, and supportive approach to working with young people.
