This is a full-time, long-term role to start ASAP, ideal for someone looking for meaningful work in a structured and child-centred environment.

About the Role

  • Promote a calm, inclusive and positive classroom environment

  • Work with EHCP targets and collaborate with SENCOs, therapists and families

  • Model emotional regulation and consistent behaviour routines

We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children with Autism, SEMH, PMLD or communication needs

  • A calm, empathetic and structured approach

  • Experience delivering personal care (or willingness to do so with training)

  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn communication strategies

  • A genuine passion for supporting inclusive education

  • DBS on the Update Service and two recent, relevant references

This role may suit those from a care, youth work, mental health, or SEND support background.

Why Apply?

  • Join a school known for its positive ethos, high staff support, and child-centred approach

  • Access regular training and potential for long-term or permanent work

  • Make a lasting difference in the lives of pupils who need patience, routine and specialist care

  • Ongoing support from GSL Education and your dedicated consultant
