About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support students’ learning, and help them develop essential numeracy skills. You will create a positive and structured classroom environment, promoting motivation, engagement, and achievement.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to students’ abilities.
• Support students’ learning, progress, and confidence through effective teaching strategies.
• Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback.
• Adapt lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop resources.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behaviour.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3/4 is preferred.
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students in learning.
• Creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and teaching.
