Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham (S25)
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to assist students with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom. You will help create a safe and engaging learning environment, supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEN.
• Assist with the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions.
• Support students with emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement.
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff.
• Monitor and record student progress in line with individual support plans.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
• A patient, caring, and resilient approach to supporting learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to the individual needs of students.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
