Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring an inspiring Drama Teacher to inspire confidence, collaboration, and imagination in the classroom. The position is based within schools across Sheffield, supporting learners in communities throughout the S35 locality.

In this role, the Drama Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop performance skills, communication, and creative thinking. You will create a supportive environment where pupils feel confident to explore drama and express their ideas.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver well-structured drama lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Encourage creativity, teamwork, and confident self-expression.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support wider learning objectives.

What You’ll Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Drama Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
