Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are appointing a motivated Art Teacher to foster imagination, artistic confidence, and practical skills in the classroom. The role is based in schools across Sheffield, supporting learners within communities across the S35 district.

In this role, the Art Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons that explore a variety of artistic techniques, media, and styles. You will encourage students to express themselves creatively while developing both technical skills and an appreciation for art.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver well-structured art lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Inspire creativity, experimentation, and independent thinking.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support wider school objectives.

What You’ll Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an Art Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
