Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Can you inspire pupils to explore the world of science while developing practical and analytical skills?
GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join schools across Sheffield (S35), delivering engaging lessons that cover biology, chemistry, physics, and scientific enquiry.
As a Science Teacher, you will encourage curiosity, guide practical experiments, and support pupils in developing a strong understanding of scientific concepts.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons across different topics.
- Support pupils in developing practical, analytical, and problem-solving skills as a Science Teacher.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach confidently.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
