Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Bring mathematics to life by guiding students in developing confidence and analytical thinking.
GSL Education are currently seeking a skilled Maths Teacher to join schools across Sheffield (S35), delivering lessons that build students’ confidence and understanding in numeracy, algebra, geometry, and data handling.
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured lessons, support pupils in developing analytical and reasoning skills, and foster a positive attitude toward mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons across the curriculum.
- Support pupils in developing problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills as a Maths Teacher.
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach confidently.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
