Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: £460 -£650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting a proactive Cover Supervisor to work across schools in Sheffield (S35), providing essential support and ensuring learning continues smoothly when teachers are absent.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will manage classrooms, follow pre-prepared lesson plans, and help maintain a positive and focused learning environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise lessons and ensure students remain on task as a Cover Supervisor.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a structured learning environment.
- Support students with completing tasks and staying engaged.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil engagement and progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people in schools or similar settings.
- Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
- Reliable, flexible, and confident in leading a classroom.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
