Job Title: SEN Teacher (Drivers only)
Location: Chesterfield (S43)
Payrate: £160-£210 Per day (Depending on experience and PayScale)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are recruiting a committed SEN Teacher to work with schools across Chesterfield (S43). This role is strictly for Drivers, as travel between settings may be required.

In this role, the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher will plan and deliver personalised learning that supports academic progress, emotional development, and positive behaviour within a structured and nurturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Support pupils with a range of special educational needs.
  • Create a calm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor progress and adapt strategies to support engagement.
  • Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals.

What You’ll Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Previous experience working as a SEN Teacher or within SEND settings.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (DRIVER ONLY).
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
