Job Title: Challenging Behaviour Mentor
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Payrate: £98-£108 Per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated Challenging Behaviour Mentor to work in schools across Dinnington (S25), supporting pupils who require consistent guidance and positive role modelling.
As a Challenging Behaviour Mentor (CBM), you will support students in managing emotions, developing coping strategies, and engaging positively with learning within a structured, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted behavioural and emotional support to pupils.
- Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage engagement and progress.
- Support de-escalation strategies and promote positive behaviour.
- Work one-to-one or in small groups to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external professionals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Challenging Behaviour Mentor or in a similar support role.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and emotional resilience.
- Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
