Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a committed Geography Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Sheffield schools, including those in the S5 and S9 areas.

In this role, the Geography Teacher will plan and teach lessons that develop pupils’ understanding of global environments, cultures, and societies, while encouraging enquiry, critical thinking, and practical fieldwork skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured geography lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Encourage independent thinking, enquiry, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school objectives.

Requirements of Geography Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
