Job Title: Design Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are working with schools in Sheffield (S5, S9) to appoint a committed Design Technology Teacher who can deliver engaging and hands-on lessons.
In this role, the Design Technology (DT) Teacher will plan and deliver lessons that foster problem-solving skills, creativity, and technical understanding. You will guide pupils in using tools, materials, and processes safely, while promoting independent thinking and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the Design Technology curriculum.
- Support pupils in developing practical, creative, and technical skills.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed workshop or classroom.
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support wider learning objectives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Design Technology Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and workshop management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
