Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education and schools in Sheffield (S11) are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to deliver lessons that develop knowledge, practical skills, and critical thinking in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.


Igniting Scientific Curiosity

  • Teach Science across key stages with clarity and enthusiasm
  • Encourage enquiry, experimentation, and problem-solving
  • Help students connect theory to real-world applications
  • Promote curiosity, observation, and analytical thinking

Your Role in the Lab as a Science Teacher

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Science lessons
  • Support learners of varying abilities with differentiated teaching
  • Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and well-organised learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department

Who We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Science Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching Science in a secondary school
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Passion for inspiring young scientists
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
