Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking an engaging English Teacher to deliver lessons that build reading, writing, and critical thinking skills while sparking a passion for language for schools across Sheffield (S11).


Bringing Words to Life

  • Teach English across key stages with enthusiasm and clarity
  • Explore literature, writing, and communication skills
  • Encourage analytical thinking, discussion, and creativity
  • Help students develop confidence in their expression

Your English Teacher Role in the Classroom

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned English lessons
  • Differentiate teaching for students of varying abilities
  • Provide constructive feedback to support learning
  • Maintain a positive, well-managed, and inclusive classroom
  • Collaborate with the English department to share resources and ideas

Who We’re Looking For

  • Qualified English Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching English in a secondary school
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Passionate about inspiring students and developing literacy
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
