Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay: £460–£650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are looking for dependable Cover Supervisors (CS) to step into classrooms, supervise learning, and maintain a calm, productive environment across secondary settings for schools in Sheffield (S11).
Holding the Fort in the Classroom as a CS
- Supervise pre-set lessons across a range of subjects
- Keep students engaged, on task, and well-managed
- Apply school behaviour policies consistently
- Support pupils with questions and guidance when needed
What Your Day Will Involve as a CS
- Taking responsibility for classes in the teacher’s absence
- Creating a positive and orderly learning atmosphere
- Managing behaviour with confidence and fairness
- Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff
- Following safeguarding procedures at all times
Who This CS Role Suits Best
- Experience working with young people in schools or similar settings
- Confident classroom presence and clear communication skills
- Calm, reliable, and adaptable approach
- Interest in education, teaching, or youth support
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
