Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Worksop (S81)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are working with schools in Worksop (S81) to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide effective classroom support and encouragement.
In this role, the Teaching Assistant (TA) will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, engagement, and development. You will help create a positive, inclusive, and well-structured learning environment for students of varying abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils during lessons, both one-to-one and in small groups.
- Assist with classroom activities and preparation of learning resources.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement.
- Help monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to support pupils with diverse learning needs.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
