RE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking an engaging Religious Education Teacher to deliver lessons that promote reflection, respect, and understanding of different beliefs and worldviews for schools across Sheffield (S5, S9).


Where Meaningful Conversations Start

  • Teach Religious Education across key stages
  • Explore belief systems, ethics, and philosophical ideas
  • Encourage open-minded discussion and critical thinking
  • Help students develop empathy and cultural awareness

Your Presence in the Classroom as an RE Teacher

  • Deliver structured, engaging RE lessons
  • Create a safe and inclusive space for discussion
  • Adapt teaching to support a range of abilities
  • Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively within the Humanities department

The Educator We’re Hoping to Meet

  • Qualified RE Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching RE in a secondary school setting
  • Confident leading discussion-based lessons
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
