Cover Supervisor – Supply
Location: Worksop (S81)
Salary: £460–£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisors (CS) to oversee lessons, maintain classroom routines, and ensure a positive learning environment across secondary settings for schools in Worksop (S81).


Keeping the Day Running Smoothly as a CS

  • Supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
  • Maintain positive behaviour and classroom focus
  • Support pupils to stay engaged and on task
  • Follow school policies and routines consistently

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

  • Take responsibility for classes in the teacher’s absence
  • Manage behaviour confidently and calmly
  • Provide support to students where needed
  • Liaise with teaching and pastoral staff as required
  • Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing procedures are followed
