Sports Coach
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Salary: £460–£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking motivated Sports Coaches to deliver engaging physical activities that promote fitness, confidence, and positive behaviour for schools across Barnsley (S70, S71).

- Lead sports sessions across a range of age groups
- Deliver structured physical activities and games
- Encourage teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship
- Support students’ physical wellbeing and confidence
What You’ll Be Driving
- Plan and run safe, inclusive sports sessions
- Adapt activities to suit different abilities and needs
- Manage groups positively in indoor and outdoor settings
- Support behaviour and engagement through sport
- Work closely with teaching and pastoral staff
Who Thrives in This Sports Coach Role
- Experience coaching or working in a sports setting
- Confident, energetic, and organised approach
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Passion for sport, fitness, and youth development
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
