RE Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a reflective and engaging Religious Education Teacher to deliver lessons that encourage understanding, discussion, and respect for different beliefs and worldviews for schools in Barnsley (S70, S71).
Where Big Questions Begin for an RE Teacher
- Teach Religious Education across key stages with clarity and care
- Explore beliefs, values, ethics, and philosophies
- Encourage respectful discussion and critical thinking
- Help students develop empathy and cultural understanding
Inside Your Classroom as an RE Teacher
- Plan and deliver thoughtful, curriculum aligned RE lessons
- Support students of different abilities and backgrounds
- Create a safe, inclusive space for discussion and debate
- Assess progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Work collaboratively within the Humanities team
The Educator We’re Looking For
- Qualified RE Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching RE in a secondary school setting
- Confident leading discussion-based lessons
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
