Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

Bringing the Past to Life
- Teach History across key stages with enthusiasm and clarity
- Explore key periods, themes, and historical debates
- Encourage analysis, discussion, and independent thinking
- Help students understand cause, consequence, and change
Your History Teacher Role in the Classroom
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging History lessons
- Adapt teaching to support students of varying abilities
- Assess progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Maintain a positive, focused, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively within the Humanities department
Who This History Teacher Role Is For
- Qualified History Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching History in a secondary school
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for engaging learners and telling meaningful stories
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
