PE Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to deliver engaging physical education lessons that promote teamwork, resilience, and lifelong fitness for schools in Barnsley (S70, S71).
Driving Energy and Engagement as a PE Teacher
- Teach PE across key stages with enthusiasm and structure
- Deliver a range of sports, fitness, and physical activities
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive attitudes
- Support students’ physical development and wellbeing
What You’ll Be Leading
- Plan and deliver inclusive, well-structured PE lessons
- Adapt activities to suit different abilities and confidence levels
- Manage behaviour positively in indoor and outdoor settings
- Ensure safety and wellbeing during all physical activities
- Work collaboratively with staff to promote school sport
Who This Role Suits
- Qualified PE Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching PE in a secondary school environment
- Confident, energetic, and organised teaching style
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
