Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a forward-thinking Computer Science Teacher to deliver engaging lessons in computing, programming, and digital problem-solving for schools in Barnsley (S70, S71).
Shaping Digital Thinkers
- Teach Computer Science across key stages with clarity and enthusiasm
- Introduce programming, algorithms, and computational thinking
- Encourage logical reasoning and independent problem-solving
- Support students in developing practical and theoretical knowledge
What Your Classroom Looks Like as a CS Teacher
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging Computer Science lessons
- Adapt teaching to suit different abilities and learning styles
- Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Maintain a focused, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the computing department
Who This CS Teacher Role Is For
- Qualified CS Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching Computer Science in a school
- Confident with programming concepts and digital tools
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
