Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are looking for an inspiring Drama Teacher to deliver engaging lessons that encourage creativity, collaboration, and self-expression through drama and performance for schools in Barnsley (S70, S71).

- Teach Drama across key stages with energy and imagination
- Explore performance, improvisation, script work, and stagecraft
- Build students’ confidence, communication, and teamwork skills
- Encourage creativity while developing discipline and structure
Your Drama Teacher Role Behind the Scenes
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Drama lessons
- Support pupils of varying abilities and performance confidence
- Provide constructive feedback to support personal development
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning space
- Work collaboratively with colleagues on performances and projects
The Performer We’re Looking For
- Qualified Drama Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passion for performance and student development
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
