Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4) 

Location: Stockport
Position: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term Time Only)
Contract: Monday–Friday, until the end of the academy year

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced qualified teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable long-term experience in a supportive environment.

The Role

  • Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and achievement

  • Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress

  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS / PGCE (or is an ECT working towards completion)

  • Confident teaching KS3 and KS4 Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to student success

  • Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, term time only

  • Holds a DBS
