Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
Location: Stockport
Position: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term Time Only)
Contract: Monday–Friday, until the end of the academy year
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced qualified teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable long-term experience in a supportive environment.
The Role

Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and achievement

Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff
The Ideal Candidate
-
Holds QTS / PGCE (or is an ECT working towards completion)

Confident teaching KS3 and KS4 Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to student success

Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, term time only
- Holds a DBS
