Maths Teacher
Location: Tadcaster
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: January 2026
GSL Education are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in the Tadcaster area. This role suits a teacher who can build confidence, fluency and problem-solving skills across the curriculum.

The school has a well-structured Maths department with a focus on consistency, progress and exam readiness. Pupils are supported through clear routines, targeted intervention and high-quality teaching.
Responsibilities

Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4

Deliver structured and engaging lessons

Monitor attainment and adapt teaching strategies

Support GCSE preparation and outcomes
Requirements

QTS with Maths specialism

Experience teaching in secondary education

Strong numeracy and curriculum knowledge

Confident behaviour management skills
