Qualified Science Teacher / Science Instructor
Location: Leicester
Start Date: After February Half Term
Contract: Long-term, ongoing
Pay: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) | Unqualified pay negotiable
GSL Education is currently working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Leicester (LE4) to recruit a Science Teacher or Science Instructor for a long-term, ongoing role starting after February half term.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Science Teacher or a strong Science graduate/instructor looking to gain or continue valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment.
The Role
-
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4

Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-led lessons

Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
-
QTS (or be an unqualified teacher/instructor with relevant experience)

A degree in a Science-based subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related)

A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Right to work full-time in the UK

Suitable references covering recent employment

Strong classroom management and a passion for Science education
