Salary: £150 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
GSL Education are currently recruiting a motivated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a supportive school in Middlesbrough. This Science Teacher role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inspiring curiosity and achievement in Science.
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that support pupils’ understanding and progress across the Science curriculum. The school is keen to appoint a Science Teacher who brings enthusiasm, strong subject knowledge, and a positive classroom presence.
The Role of the Science Teacher Will Include:

Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Teaching across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as required.

Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress.

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff.

Providing a high standard of safeguarding and pastoral care as a Science Teacher.
The Ideal Science Teacher Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Have experience teaching Science within a school setting.

Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Have excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

Have a fully checkable work history.
