Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are looking for a passionate Science Teacher to deliver inspiring lessons that develop knowledge, investigative skills, and critical thinking for schools in Barnsley (S70, S71).
Your Mission in the Lab
- Teach Science across key stages with enthusiasm and clarity
- Encourage hands-on experiments, enquiry, and problem-solving
- Help students connect theory to real-world applications
- Promote curiosity, observation, and analytical thinking
What a Typical Day Looks Like as a Science Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons
- Guide pupils through experiments safely and effectively
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Maintain a positive, organised, and safe classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department
Who We’re Looking For
- Qualified Science Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for inspiring young scientists
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
