Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are working with schools in Dinnington (S25) to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Support/Mentor to provide consistent guidance and positive role modelling.

In this role, the Behaviour Support/Mentor will assist pupils needing extra emotional and behavioural support, helping them build self‑regulation, confidence, and positive learning attitudes within a structured, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted behavioural and emotional support to pupils.
  • Act as a positive role model, promoting appropriate behaviour and engagement.
  • Support pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
  • Assist with behaviour management strategies and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Behaviour Support/Mentor or in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, consistent approach.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with young people.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
