Computer Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Computer Science (CS) Teacher to deliver engaging lessons in computing, programming, and digital thinking for schools in Sheffield (S2, S3). This role is ideal for someone who can make complex concepts accessible and relevant.
The Focus of the CS Teacher Role
- Teach Computer Science across relevant key stages
- Develop students’ understanding of coding, algorithms, and data
- Encourage logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Promote safe and responsible use of technology
What You’ll Be Doing as a CS Teacher
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging Computer Science lessons
- Differentiate learning to support varying ability levels
- Assess student progress and provide clear feedback
- Maintain positive behaviour and strong classroom routines
- Work collaboratively with IT and Computing departments
What Schools Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Computer Science in a school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management
- Confident use of educational technology
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
