Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

The Heart of the Drama Teacher Role

  • Deliver Drama lessons across relevant key stages
  • Encourage creativity, imagination, and confident self-expression
  • Support students in performance, improvisation, and scripted work
  • Foster collaboration and respect within practical lessons

Your Role in Practice

  • Plan and deliver dynamic Drama lessons aligned with the curriculum
  • Create a safe, inclusive space for students to perform and explore ideas
  • Assess progress in both practical and written Drama work
  • Manage behaviour effectively during practical activities
  • Work closely with the performing arts department

What Schools Will Value

  • Qualified Drama Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Enthusiasm for performance and creative learning
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
