MFL Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to deliver engaging language lessons that build communication skills, cultural awareness, and learner confidence for schools across Sheffield (S2, S3). This role is ideal for someone who brings energy, clarity, and creativity to language learning.


The Aim of the MFL Teacher Role

  • Teach Modern Foreign Languages across relevant key stages
  • Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
  • Promote cultural understanding and global awareness
  • Encourage confidence and participation in the classroom

What You’ll Be Doing as an MFL Teacher

  • Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons aligned with the curriculum
  • Use a range of strategies to support different learning styles
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain strong classroom routines and expectations

What Schools Are Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching MFL in a UK school
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Passion for language learning and student development
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
