Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Can you guide students to grow their confidence and ability in mathematics through engaging teaching?
Schools across Sheffield, particularly within the S5 and S9 postcodes, are appointing a committed Maths Teacher, and GSL Education are facilitating the placement.
In this role, the Mathematics Teacher will deliver lessons that build problem‑solving, logical thinking, and mathematical understanding, supporting pupils of all abilities within a positive, focused classroom.
What the Position Involves:
- Deliver well-planned lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support students in developing numeracy and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain positive behaviour and high expectations for learning.
- Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil achievement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Maths Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
