Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: £460 -£650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are recruiting a reliable Cover Supervisor to support schools situated within the S5 and S9 districts of Sheffield, ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences.
In this role, the Cover Supervisor (CS) will oversee pre-set lessons, manage behaviour, and keep students engaged throughout the day - an excellent opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences using prepared lesson plans.
- Maintain a calm, focused, and positive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support students with their work and respond to basic queries.
- Report any issues or concerns to senior staff.
What You’ll Need;
- Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar school-based role.
- Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- A professional approach to safeguarding and school procedures.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
