Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets
Pay Rate: £90 – £105 per day (based on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long-term, Full-time
Working Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm
A lovely primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their team on a long-term, full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong KS2 experience who is confident providing 1:1 SEN support and enjoys working collaboratively within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities of TA:
- Support the delivery of the KS2 curriculum
- Provide 1:1 SEN support tailored to individual pupil needs
- Assist the class teacher with classroom activities and learning resources
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Always follow school policies and procedures
- Work effectively as part of a wider school and support team
Requirements for TA:
- Proven KS2 experience and curriculum knowledge
- Recent school-based experience
- Ability to confidently deliver 1:1 SEN support
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow school policies
- Good level of spoken and written English
- A caring and proactive approach to supporting children’s development
