Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Buckhurst Hill
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Part-time / Ad Hoc
Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £90 – £105 per day (depending on experience)
GSL Education are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming school in Buckhurst Hill. This role is ideal for someone with SEN experience who is enthusiastic about making a real difference in children’s learning and development.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Providing 1:1 SEN support tailored to individual pupil needs
- Supporting pupils with learning, social, and emotional development
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive classroom activities
- Always following school policies and safeguarding procedures
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive school team
What We’re Looking for in a TA:
- Proven SEN experience and knowledge
- Recent school-based experience
- Confidence in delivering 1:1 SEN support
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow school policies
- Good spoken and written English
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
