Pay Rate: £90–£105 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Ad hoc, Part-time
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

GSL Education are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to work on a flexible, part-time basis in a lovely school in Newham. This role is ideal for someone with SEN experience who is passionate about providing 1:1 support and is looking for adaptable work that fits around other commitments.

Key Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant (TA):

  • Provide 1:1 SEN support tailored to individual pupil needs.
  • Support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to implement support strategies.
  • Follow school policies and contribute positively as part of a team.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Requirements for TA:

  • SEN experience and strong understanding of additional needs.
  • Recent school-based experience is essential.
  • Confident in delivering 1:1 SEN support.
  • Able to follow school policies and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good level of spoken and written English.
