SEN Teacher
Location: Basingstoke
Start Date: ASAP
Full-time / Part-time
We’re seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join a SEN school in Basingstoke. This role is ideal for someone who values inclusive education, builds strong relationships, and understands that progress looks different for every learner.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering structured, engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
- Creating a calm, consistent, and positive learning environment
- Working closely with teaching assistants and wider support teams
- Monitoring progress and adapting approaches to help pupils achieve meaningful outcomes
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience in SEN or inclusive settings (desirable but not essential)
- Is patient, adaptable, and reflective in their practice
- Communicates clearly with colleagues, families, and professionals
- Is committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
