Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Dover
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special educational needs?
GSL Education are currently seeking committed SEN Teachers to work in supportive and inclusive Schools across Dover.
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored teaching and learning to students with a range of special educational needs, helping them to achieve both academically and personally in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to meet individual SEN needs.
• Support students on a one-to-one or small group basis according to their EHCPs.
• Assess, track, and report on student progress.
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals.
• Promote students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience working with students with SEN or SEND needs.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive teaching practices.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
