Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Sevenoaks
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting an SEN Teacher to work in supportive and inclusive Schools across Sevenoaks.
About the Role:
As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, tailored education to pupils with SEND, adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs while fostering a positive and structured learning environment.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver personalised lessons in line with EHCPs and the curriculum.
• Support students on a one-to-one or small group basis.
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress effectively.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with SENCOs, Teaching Assistants, and external professionals.
• Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN or SEND needs.
• Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and SEN frameworks.
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
